The Fishing Islands of Lake Huron offer some of the most enjoyable snorkelling on the Bruce Peninsula. The time you spend in this Canadian Caribbean of 70 islands, shallow water and rocky shoals on the west side of the Bruce Peninsula will become one of your most memorable summer experiences!
Snorkelling in the shallow, warm waters around the Fishing Islands is a perfect location for those new to the sport, those averse to cold water and to those who just love the sun, the sand! You will explore rock formations as well, and shipwrecks that found their final resting place in our sandy bays.
We provide snorkel gear and a shortie wetsuit. (May not be needed in July and August.) A snorkel guide will demonstrate how to use the equipment and will be in the water to assist you. All participants should feel comfortable in the water. Children 12 and under and adults who are not strong swimmers, must wear life jackets. If you have access to a full wetsuit, and wish to snorkel at a time outside our Jun 15 – Sept. 29th time frame, give us a call.
